Welcome to our website.
Mount St Bernard College offers a quality, Catholic secondary education for young people, male and female, in Years 7 through 12. At MSB we are proud of our Mercy traditions, while remaining responsive to the contemporary needs of students who seek a faith-based education that will stand them in good stead for the future.
Our College is a culturally diverse community which provides a holistic education that nurtures the academic, spiritual, emotional, physical, cultural and social development of individual students in a caring, safe and supportive environment. At MSB we recognise the individuality of every one of our students. We seek to help each student become the best person they can be, by providing quality learning and teaching and making available a rich tapestry of sporting, artistic and other co-curricular activities, to help them discover and develop their personal giftedness.
I would like to congratulate the Didge Kids and the Badu Dancers and singers for their wonderful performance in Cairns at the Pullman Hotel on the evening of Thursday 3rd August. The students were brilliant and represented the College to a high degree of excellence. Once again, our students rise to the challenge and make their college and home communities proud and showcase the wonderful culture of their heritage. Well done to our students!
WELCOME TO GUS THE BOARDER PUP!
Gus is friendly and he likes to play with the kids. He makes them laugh and chases them. He helps people from having a bad day at school. He spends time with them to cheer them up. Gus likes going down to the grounds and seeing a lot of new people and getting to know them. I like Gus because he is friendly and likes to play a lot. I like him because he is so cute to cuddle with. He is really a friendly dog to play with, He might know us from little but when he grew up he didn’t even know us but he is really a friendly and quiet little puppy. That’s what I like about him. TRINITY BAY WRITERS’ FESTIVAL
What an incredible opportunity for Mount St Bernard students. Thanks to Mrs Weedon, Mrs Riber, Ms Rolfe and Ms Adair, twelve students were able to work with renowned Australian writers and illustrator to explore the different approaches to novel writing and illustrating. The first day of workshops provided engaging, hands on activities demonstrating each authors skills and talents. Day two was all about students putting what they had learned into action to create their own masterpieces; well at least the beginnings of them.
